transaction pro has been frustrating for me. it freezes during imports, and a few times it has just shut down out of nowhere. i end up spending more time double-checking whether the data actually went through than getting my work done. support tried to help, but it didn’t really solve much. i just don’t feel like i can rely on it every day.

I tried using Transaction Pro and got frustrated. The setup felt clunky, the menus weren’t very clear, and I kept having to click around just to find basic things. On top of that, it felt like I had to verify myself over and over, which got old really fast. It just wasn’t easy to use.

The batch uploads did work, so it wasn’t a total disaster, but anything with bigger files felt like it took forever. I had to rerun a few jobs too, and that got annoying fast. Seems like these batch tools are always fine for small stuff and then completely slow down the second you actually need them

I spent way longer setting this up than I expected, and even after going through all the little steps, the automation still missed a few things. It was frustrating because I kept thinking, “Okay, this should work now,” but then I’d notice something small hadn’t been handled. It just feels like the automation part isn’t fully there yet

Not saying it’s a scam, but my exports failed twice and support wasn’t able to fix it. Frustrating when you’re just trying to get your files and move on

I had a frustrating time using Transaction Pro. The error messages were basically just “something went wrong,” which is super helpful, obviously, when you’re trying to figure out what actually failed.
I ended up spending way too much time guessing what was wrong with my import. The same file would sometimes work after tiny changes and sometimes still fail, so that was a fun little mystery I didn’t ask for.
The support docs didn’t really clear things up either. For a paid tool, I’d expect the error handling to be a lot better, but maybe that’s asking too much. I won’t be using it again.

Some steps seem to be missing, and a few pages don’t even match what I’m seeing in the app. I ended up guessing my way through a lot of it, which was frustrating and badly timed.

It wanted access to a lot of my business info, and I didn’t feel comfortable with how unclear things were around where that data goes and how it’s protected. The privacy details felt too vague for something handling customer or financial data. Maybe it works fine for other people, but I think companies have a responsibility to be really transparent when they’re asking for that level of access. I just couldn’t justify using it without more trust.

I just felt like the price was really too high for what you actually get. It didn’t feel like a good value to me.

The multi-company support does the job, but switching between companies still feels a bit clunky. I was expecting clearer instructions or a more obvious flow, because it took me a little while to figure out what I was supposed to do. It’s usable, just not as smooth as I hoped

I imported my QuickBooks data and, for the most part, everything came through accurately. Most of the lines matched up just fine, though I did have to go back and correct a few dates. Still, it saved me a good amount of time, and overall I’d say the import worked well enough that I’m happy with it.

Overall it’s been fine for the usual stuff, invoices, bills, that kind of thing. It gets the job done most of the time. But then I hit a couple transaction types I actually needed, and yeah, that was a bit annoying. I ended up doing some manual workarounds, which wasn’t the end of the world, but still. For the price, I kind of expected it to cover a little more. Not a bad tool, just missing a few pieces.

I don’t know if it was just me, but the onboarding process was really frustrating. I felt confused for most of it, and when I needed help, the guidance wasn’t very clear. There were too many steps, and not enough simple explanations for what I was supposed to do next. It ended up taking way longer than I expected, it kind of made me question whether I even wanted to keep using it.

I wish I had read the reviews before using this. I had an issue that never really got fixed, and support just kept saying they’d check on it. I had to keep chasing them for updates, and it dragged on way longer than it should have. Frustrating overall, and I definitely regret giving it a try...

I reached out to support with some basic import questions, but it felt like they didn’t know the product that well. Oof. Most of the replies seemed copy-pasted and didn’t actually solve the issue. The wait between responses was also way too long. Frustrating. By the end, I felt like I was the one explaining how their own tool worked

I used it for imports, and overall the data mapping is flexible. It took me a little while to figure out, but once I got the hang of it, it definitely saved me from fixing files by hand. That said, a few small hiccups made me second-guess whether I could fully trust it every time, so now I tend to double-check things more than I expected.

Dealing with the templates has been frustrating. The whole template management setup feels messy, my saved layouts keep changing on their own, and trying to find older templates takes way too long. It’s literally more trouble than it’s worth

TransactionPro does what I need it to do, and haven’t really had any big issues using it. Just feels like the subscription setup is a little rigid for someone like me who doesn’t need it every single month.
Would be nice to have an easier way to pause or maybe a smaller plan for lighter use. Overall, not a bad tool, just wish it fit smaller users a bit better

I gave Transaction Pro a shot because I was hoping it would make my QuickBooks imports a lot easier, but it felt limited!!! There were mappings and options I just assumed would be included, and they weren’t, so I still ended up doing a bunch of manual work anyway!!! It might be fine if you’re only importing really simple stuff, but once things get even a little more detailed, it gets frustrating fast!!! For me, it just wasn’t really worth it!!!

It did save me some time, so I can’t complain too much, but I kind of regret expecting it to be more helpful than it was. It’s okay overall, just not perfect.
